• Create envelopes or pages labeled “Open when…” followed by moments like you need a coffee boost, you’re having a rough day, or you deserve a treat.

• Inside each, tuck a small gift card ($10–$25 works great) — think Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Amazon, or even local spots they love.

• Print your own pages or download my free Open When Gift Guide for templates and step-by-step instructions.

• I found scrapbook refill pages and stuck the pages inside and attached the gift card and you can use a keychain to hold pages together. Last year I just put one at the top but this year I will use 3. I am sure that you can even place inside a binder, which would be super cute.

This gift works perfectly for teens, college students, or adult children who appreciate a little surprise throughout the year.
