Shop Early

Most Black Friday deals are live right now. We are seeing a trend with more stores offering early deals. Especially if you have items on your list that are must have, don’t wait to order! This website is great for up to date deals and even has a 2020 Holiday Comparison spreadsheet for best prices. You should share it as well

Online Shopping

Most deals are being offered both in store and online, which means you can do all your shopping in your pj’s. Most people will be shopping online this year, why not earn cash back. There are a lot of cash back websites available but I have been using Rakuten for years. You can download the app, add the extension to the browser or just sign into your account and earn cash back online and in-store at thousands of stores. You will receive a check every three months with the money earned and new users can earn $10 when they sign up and make a $25 purchase in the first 3 months. Read more about How to Earn Cash Back with Rakuten.

Buy Online and Pickup Outside Store

With the popularity of online shopping, we may see some shipping delays. If the store offers curbside pickup, that is one way to avoid shopping in stores and still grab those must have items in time for Christmas.

Gift Cards

Buy and sell unused gift cards on Raise.com. Raise is another secret for online shopping. There are thousands of gift cards that go unused each year and you may even have some sitting in a drawer. Not only can you buy gift cards, both digital and physical gift cards but you can sell them as well. One idea is to purchase a digital gift card and use it for your online shopping. They even offer a cash back service similar to Rakuten.

Personalized Gifts

We are seeing a huge trend toward personalized, thoughtful gifts to feel connected. Artist and hobby supplies, cocktail mixes and baking supplies. Gifts that tell a story. Etsy is a great place to shop if you aren’t crafty. Also, if you download the Shutterfly app, they offer freebies a few times a week where you just pay shipping. For example, Walgreens is offering some huge savings right now save up to 75% off gifts that even offer same day pickup.

Support Small Businesses

Although most small businesses won’t be promoting small business Saturday for in -store purchases, check out their facebook pages for special live sales. Stores like Amendolaro even offer free local delivery. Visit your favorite local business on social media for special deals and live sale events.
